FCC gives SpaceX “green light” to expand Starlink constellation to 15,000 satellites

The Starlink 6-96 mission added another 29 broadband internet satellites to the low Earth orbit constellation. SpaceX launched from Space Launch Complex 40 on Friday, Jan. 9, at 4:41 p.m. EST (2141 UTC).

Strong winds stymie back-to-back SpaceX launch plans; Vandenberg launch successful

More second-gen Starlink satellites launch on Falcon 9 rocket

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Sunday morning with 22 upgraded Starlink internet satellites, but officials called off a second Falcon 9 launch later in the day due to high winds in the booster’s offshore recovery area.
