Two days after launching a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida, SpaceX sent another mission into orbit Sunday from California’s Central Coast with 10 new satellites for Iridium’s voice and data relay network.
The Starlink 10-30 mission will add 28 more satellites to SpaceX’s low Earth orbit megaconstellation. Liftoff of the Falcon 9 rocket from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is set for 3:57 a.m. EDT (0757 UTC) on Monday.
Loaded with over 7,300 pounds of goods for the International Space Station, a commercial Cygnus cargo vessel was mounted atop its Atlas 5 rocket booster Friday for launch Dec. 3.
