NASA is loading liquid hydrogen aboard its Space Launch System moon rocket at the Kennedy Space Center on Thursday for an unpublicized but crucial test of the repairs made to a leaky umbilical that derailed a countdown rehearsal on Feb. 2.

SpaceX reaches 19 flights with a Falcon 9 booster for a third time with Starlink mission

SpaceX managed to thread the needle with the weather and launch the first of two planned Starlink missions from Cape Canaveral in 48 hours. A Falcon 9 rocket launched from pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center on Saturday at 11:09 p.m. EDT (0309 UTC on Sunday). It will be followed by another Falcon 9 from nearby pad 40 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Monday.

Atlas 5 rocket launches Amazon’s first Kuiper satellites from Cape Canaveral

A ULA Atlas 5 rocket is set to launch no earlier than 2 p.m. EDT (1800 UTC) on Friday, Oct. 6. It will sent up two prototype satellites for Amazon’s Project Kuiper satellite internet constellation.

A cosmonaut took a test ride on the end of a European robot arm during a six-hour 35-minute spacewalk outside the International Space Station Wednesday amid work to install three micrometeoroid debris shields and relocate a work platform.

Watch live as space station astronauts make spacewalk

European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet and NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough will head outside the International Space Station for a planned six-and-a-half hour spacewalk beginning around 8 a.m. EDT (1200 GMT). The spacewalkers will install and unfurl a second roll-out solar array outside the space station.
