Commercial crew blasts off on privately-funded space station research mission

Strapped into a new SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule making its maiden flight, Whitson, test pilot Shubhanshu Shukla of India, European Space Agency astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland, and Hungarian engineer Tibor Kapu roared away from pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center at 2:31 a.m. EDT.

ULA launches Kuiper 2 mission on Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral

The 27 Kuiper satellites will head to low Earth orbit on an Atlas 5 rocket flying in a 551 configuration, using five solid rocket boosters. ULA launched its rocket at 6:54 a.m. EDT (1054 UTC) on Monday, June 23.

SpaceX launches Falcon 9 rocket on Transporter-14 smallsat rideshare mission

The mission carried 70 payloads to low Earth orbit, including three orbital transfer vehicles and re-entry capsules. Liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base happened on Monday, June 23, at 2:25 p.m. PDT (5:25 p.m. EDT, 2125 UTC).

SpaceX launches Starlink 10-23 following Sunday morning scrub

The Starlink 10-23 mission was SpaceX’s 260th orbital flight from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Liftoff occurred on Monday, June 23, at 1:58 a.m. EDT (0558 UTC).

Next Starship explodes on test stand

SpaceX’s next Starship vehicle, Ship 36, was destroyed in a catastrophic explosion shortly after 11 p.m. CT (0400 UTC) Wednesday as it was being readied for a static fire test at the company’s Massey facility, near Starbase, Texas.

The Starlink 15-9 mission will be the 200th orbital launch from Space Launch Complex 4 East to date. SpaceX is targeting liftoff of its Falcon 9 rocket at 8:36 p.m. PDT (11:36 p.m. EDT, 0336 UTC).

Atlas 5 booster engine issue causes scrub of Monday’s Kuiper 2 launch
