Video: Falcon 9 fires up engines on pad 39A (members only)

The Falcon 9 rocket supporting the Starlink 10-61 mission will fly on a north-easterly trajectory upon departing Florida’s Space Coast. SpaceX launched from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:30 a.m. EDT (0930 UTC).

An innovative commercial Capella radar observation spacecraft with night vision and a small payload from the California-based smallsat manufacturer Tyvak are set to ride into orbit from Florida’s Space Coast Saturday with 52 more Starlink internet satellites on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The next three-man crew to live on China’s Tiangong space station will launch Monday night on a Long March rocket, heading for a half-year expedition on the orbiting outpost to replace an outgoing team of astronauts set to return to Earth this weekend.
