Video: Falcon 9 rocket lifts off from pad 39A (members only)

Check out imagery from Friday’s liftoff of a previously-flown Falcon 9 rocket booster with the BulgariaSat 1 communications satellite from Florida’s Space Coast.

The Starlink 6-73 mission featured Falcon 9 booster, tail number 1067, which launched for a record-setting 27th time. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station happened on Monday, April 14, at 12 a.m. EDT (0400 UTC).

After completing a countdown dress rehearsal, Astra is gearing up for its first orbital launch attempt this week from Kodiak Island, Alaska, but company officials said it will likely take multiple test flights before the new small satellite launcher successfully reaches orbit.
