Video replay: Parker Solar Probe launches atop Delta 4-Heavy

NASA’s $1.2 billion Psyche mission to a metal-rich asteroid has lifted off atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. Launch from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is occurred at 10:19 a.m. EDT (1419 UTC) Friday.

A Falcon 9 rocket booster which first flew in May took off for the second time Tuesday from Cape Canaveral carrying the Indonesian Merah Putih communications satellite.

The 200th Atlas-Centaur rocket, history some 52 years in the making, will blast off Tuesday from Cape Canaveral to deliver a U.S. Navy mobile communications satellite into orbit.
