Two veteran NASA astronauts rocketed away from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday to begin a test flight of a new commercial spaceship designed, built and owned by SpaceX.
The next liftoff of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket has been reset for no earlier than Feb. 8, NOAA and NASA officials said Tuesday, apparently to give the launch provider more time to prepare for the mission.
The Starlink 11-6 mission was the fourth launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base so far in 2025. Liftoff from pad 4 East happened at 6:07 a.m. PST (9:07 a.m. EST, 1407 UTC).
