Time-lapse: The Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon roll to the launch pad (members only)

NASA’s live television coverage of the first human spaceflight to take off from the Kennedy Space Center in nearly nine years will include features familiar to launch viewers, and new camera views to document the historic flight of astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to the International Space Station.

The Falcon 9 rocket that will launch a Dragon capsule packed with cargo destined for the International Space Station was raised into position at launch complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center.

Two astronauts floated outside the International Space Station Monday for NASA’s third spacewalk in less than three weeks for more battery replacement work and installation of cables.
