After a two-week delay to evaluate a concern with Falcon 9 rocket engines, NASA and SpaceX have set Nov. 14 as the target launch date for the first operational Crew Dragon flight to the International Space Station, kicking off a half-year expedition in orbit for three U.S. astronauts and a veteran Japanese space flier.

NASA has selected SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket to launch a robotic mission in July 2022 to explore Psyche, a metal-rich asteroid located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. The Psyche probe is NASA’s first mission assigned to fly on SpaceX’s heavy-lift launcher.

The Starlink 11-15 mission will add another 28 broadband internet satellites to the company’s low Earth orbit constellation. SpaceX is targeting liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base at 9:58 a.m. PST (12:58 p.m. EST / 1758 UTC).
