Atlas/Cygnus pre-launch news conference

These photos show the 215-foot-tall Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft on pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center, ready for launch on a test flight to the International Space Station with NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken when weather cooperates.

This collection of photographs shows the Air Force’s Global Positioning System 2F-10 navigation satellite being encapsulated in the Atlas 5 nose cone and hoisted atop the rocket for launch July 15.

The first in NOAA’s new series of polar-orbiting weather satellites has been lifted atop United Launch Alliance’s second-to-last Delta 2 rocket on a launch pad in California, ready for encapsulation and final checkouts ahead of a predawn launch set for Nov. 10.
