Soyuz 2.1b • Glonass-K1 No. 18

Roscosmos launched a Soyuz 2.1b rocket in support of the Glonass-K1 No. 18 mission along with a Mozhaets-6 experimental spacecraft. GLONASS stands for the Global Navigation Satellite System and it is a satellite constellation that provides positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services, similar to the U.S. GPS constellation or Galileo from the European Union.
