The flight will be the largest mission for Exolaunch, which managing the manifesting and deployment of 59 satellites onboard the Falcon 9 rocket. Liftoff from pad 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28, at 10:18 a.m. PST (1:18 p.m. EST / 1818 UTC).

NASA, Boeing pivot Starliner-1 mission from 4-person astronaut flight to cargo-only

The change comes days after the mission’s previous commander was promoted to lead NASA’s Astronaut Office. NASA and Boeing are also reducing the required number of missions to the International Space Station from six down to four.

Launch preview: Blue Origin to launch NASA’s ESCAPADE following scrubs from clouds, space weather

Blue Origin was able to secure permission from the Federal Aviation Administration for a daytime launch attempt while the emergency order constraining commercial launches remains in place even after the end of the government shutdown. Liftoff is scheduled during an 88-minute-long window that opens at 2:57 p.m. EST (1957 UTC).

Sir Peter Beck, Rocket Lab’s CEO, said during an earnings call on Monday that the rocket would arrive at Launch Complex 3 on Wallops Island, Virginia, sometime in the first quarter of 2026, “with first launch thereafter.”
