Video: Falcon 9 with Crew Dragon briefly ignites engines (members only)

NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will be geared up for the long haul when they launch from the Kennedy Space Center on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft later this month, but they won’t know exactly how long they will be in orbit until they are already aboard the International Space Station.

Three crewmen from Russia, the United States and Great Britain blasted off toward the International Space Station on Tuesday, rocketing into space from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in pursuit of the orbiting research lab.

SpaceX will attempt to land its 470th Falcon booster during the Starlink 15-7 mission. It’s targeting liftoff from pad 4E at 10:13 a.m. PDT (1:13 p.m. EDT, 1713 UTC) on Saturday, June 28.
