Live coverage: International crew lands in Kazakhstan

A Soyuz rocket is scheduled for launch Friday with Russia’s Resurs P2 satellite, a civilian-operated spacecraft with a sharp-eyed camera to collect high-resolution imagery for Russian government authorities and international agencies.

A SpaceX-owned Dragon supply ship packed with nearly three tons of cargo arrived at the International Space Station on Monday after a three-day trip from Cape Canaveral. The station’s robotic arm grappled the cargo capsule at 6:54 a.m. EDT (1054 GMT).

This will be the 50th Dragon vehicle to visit the International Space Station, including the Dragon 1 vehicles that were berthed to the orbiting lab. Docking with the Harmony module is anticipated Monday, Aug. 25, at 7:30 a.m. EDT (1130 UTC).
