Long March 3B • Tianwen-2

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) launched a Long March 3B rocket on the Tianwen-2 mission. The spacecraft consists of an orbiter and return capsule for an asteroid sampling mission from the asteroid named Kamo’oalewa or 2016 HO3. The mission is designed to return the samples to Earth in 2027. Following that, it will then shift its aim to head for the comet 311P/PANSTARRS in 2035.
