SpaceX is slated to launch two dozens of its Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Tuesday night.
The Starlink 17-49 mission will be SpaceX’s 51st flight from the West Coast so far this year.
Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4 East is scheduled during a window that opens at 7 p.m. PDT (10 p.m. EDT / 0200 UTC). The rocket will fly on a south-southwesterly trajectory.
Spaceflight Now will have live coverage beginning about 30 minutes prior to liftoff.
SpaceX will launch the mission using the Falcon 9 first stage booster with the tail number B1103. This will be its fifth flight after previously launching SDA-T1TL-E, NROL-179, Starlink 17-35, and Starlink 17-42.
Nearly 8.5 minutes after liftoff, B1103 will target a landing on the droneship, Of Course I Still Love You, positioned in the Pacific Ocean. If successful, this will be the 163rd landing on this vessel and the 648th Falcon booster landing to date.
