President Trump withdraws Isaacman nomination for NASA Administrator days before confirmation vote

Jared Isaacman, an entrepreneur who flew to space twice as a commercial astronaut, was nominated for the position in early December and was voted favorably out of committee in late April. A replacement hasn’t been named.

The mission was the 25th flight of the Falcon 9 first stage booster, tail number 1071. The Falcon 9 lifted off from pad 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base at 1:10 p.m. PDT (4:10 p.m. EDT, 2010 UTC).

The Starlink 10-32 mission saw a Falcon 9 rocket fly in a north-easterly trajectory after launching from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX launched the mission at 9:30 a.m. EDT (1330 UTC).
