Step inside a prototype of Blue Origin’s crew capsule to get a glimpse of what space tourists will experience when the spaceship begins suborbital flights with passengers in 2018.
Blue Origin put the full-scale mock-up on display alongside the company’s five-times-flown New Shepard rocket at the 33rd Space Symposium this week in Colorado Springs.
The privately-funded capsule has six seats and features the biggest windows that will have ever flown in space.
Ariane Cornell, Blue Origin’s head of astronaut strategy and sales, gave reporters a look inside the spaceship and an overview of its functions Wednesday at the space convention.
