Drone’s view of Sunday’s SpaceX rocket landing

The Falcon 9 rocket supporting the Starlink 10-61 mission will fly on a north-easterly trajectory upon departing Florida’s Space Coast. SpaceX launched from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:30 a.m. EDT (0930 UTC).

Launch teams are readying three rockets for a series of blastoffs this week from Cape Canaveral to loft a classified orbiting spy platform for the U.S. government, a long-delayed Argentine radar imaging payload, and the next set of Starlink broadband satellites.

The mission is the debut of a new reentry capsule developed by SpaceX that weighs about 2,100 kg (4,600 lbs). Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station happened at 6:53 a.m. EDT (1053 UTC).
