Drone’s view of Sunday’s SpaceX rocket landing

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket took off Monday from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California with 10 new satellites for Iridium’s upgraded communications network in low Earth orbit.

NASA and SpaceX have delayed the launch of the Crew Dragon “Resilience” spacecraft from the Kennedy Space Center until 7:27 p.m. EST Sunday (0027 GMT Monday) to wait for improved downrange weather and sea conditions, and better onshore winds at the launch site.

The mission comes as SpaceX is preparing for a week that includes a rideshare flight; a dual-manifest, Moon bound missions; and Starship Flight 7. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is set for 11:47 a.m. EST (1647 UTC).
