The vehicle launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Saturday, April 11, at 7:41 a.m. EDT (1141 UTC). Capture by the space station’s Canadarm2 is happened on Monday, April 13, at 12:19 pm CT (1:19 pm ET / 1719 UTC).

The capture came after Northrop Grumman engineers adjusted the sensitivity of main engine fault detection software that prematurely triggered shut downs during two rendezvous thruster firings Tuesday.

Northrop Grumman’s 1st Cygnus XL spacecraft launches on cargo run to the space station

SpaceX launched the vehicle on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 6:11 p.m. EDT (2211 UTC). It’s scheduled to be berthed to the ISS by NASA astronaut Jonny Kim on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The new Cygnus XL spacecraft will deliver more than 11,000 pounds (4,990 kg) of food, science supplies and cargo to the International Space Station. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station happened at 6:11 a.m. EDT (2211 UTC).
