Falcon 9 • Transporter-18

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the 130 payloads on the latest mission for its dedicated smallsat rideshare program. The first stage booster, tail number B1082, launching for a 25th time returned for a touchdown at Landing Zone 4 at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Among the payloads flying on this mission were a demonstration for Google’s Project Suncatcher, testing the company’s Tensor Processing Units in space; Star Catcher’s Protostar, a prototype for their energy translating spacecraft; and NASA’s Supernova Remnants and Proxies for ReIonization Testbed Experiment (SPRITE) CubeSat.
