A Rocket Lab Electron rocket launched a dedicated flight for Japan-based Earth imaging company iQPS. The synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite, nicknamed Susanoo-2, was launched into a circular low Earth orbit at an altitude of 575 km at a 42-degree inclination. This was the ninth out of 18 launches booked by iQPS on Electron rockets.
