STS 41-B Post-Flight Presentation

Two years after it paraded through the streets of Los Angeles following a cross-country ferry flight from Florida, the space shuttle Endeavour was loaded with a Spacehab logistics module ahead of the orbiter’s planned transition to a vertical display on a mock launch pad in 2018.

A five-week, 5,000-mile sea trek of the last space shuttle external fuel tank pulled into port today for a parade through the urban jungle of Southern California on Saturday to its final destination.

Shuttle Endeavour launched for the 25th and final time on this date in 2011.
