Vikram-1 • Mission Aagaman

Skyroot Aerospace launched the first commercial, orbital rocket in India on a test flight. The Vikram-1 rocket launched the Mission Aagaman, a demonstration of the launcher and a deployment of multiple payloads. Those included Grahaa Space’s Solaras S3 satellite, Cosmoserve Space’s robotic arm called ‘Embrace’, a technology demonstration from German company DCUBED (Deployables Cubed GmbH), and a satellite from Skyroot called Scope. The payloads were launched into a 450 km circular low Earth orbit at an inclination of 60 degrees.
