A new threshold for international space cooperation was launched aboard Atlantis on November 12, 1995, at 7:30 a.m. The Docking Module was delievered to the Russian space station Mir during the second linkup by an American shuttle. The crew was commanded by Ken Cameron, with pilot Jim Halsell and mission specialists Jerry Ross, Bill McArthur and Chris Hadfield.
