 Forecast for Sunday, April 6

Issued: Friday, April 4
Launch Weather Officer: Johnny Weems, 45th Weather Squadron

Synoptic Discussion: "Increasing upper level cloudiness today with a very slight chance of late afternoon/evening showers/thunderstorms, mainly inland. Increasing moisture and temperatures coupled with a minor upper level disturbance will increase the probability of late afternoon/evening showers/thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday. Chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon/evening could impact launch preparations. The front previously expected to influence local weather on Monday is now expected later in the week.

"The greatest concerns for Sunday morning's attempt will be layered clouds and precipitation aloft; concern for showers increases after noon."
