Photo Gallery: Juno mounted atop its launcher

With just 9 days left until blastoff, Juno is placed atop the United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket that will send the spacecraft on its journey to Jupiter. Already packed within the Swiss-made nose cone, the satellite is raised off the ground by overhead cranes and gently maneuvered through the open doorway of the rocket's vertical assembly hangar for attachment to the Centaur upper stage.
