Station crew's ride rolls to launch pad

The Russian Soyuz rocket that will launch three men into space Wednesday was rolled by rail its Baikonur Cosmodrome pad at dawn Monday in bitterly cold weather.

Liftoff of the three-stage booster is scheduled for 8:16 a.m. EST (1316 GMT) to deliver the Soyuz TMA-03M into orbit. Docking to the space station is expected Friday around 10:20 a.m. EST (1520 GMT).

The spacecraft will carry NASA's Don Pettit, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko and Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers to become members of Expedition 30.
