The shuttle Endeavour started a slow 3.5-mile crawl to launch pad 39A at 7:55 p.m. EST Thursday, marking another visible step ahead of the orbiter's 25th and final spaceflight.
These photos from Spaceflight Now's Ben Cooper and Stephen Clark show views of the evening rollout from several levels inside the mammoth Vehicle Assembly Building and the roof of the adjacent Launch Control Center.
