Endeavour leaves the Kennedy Space Center


The space shuttle Endeavour departed the Kennedy Space Center for the final time at dawn Wednesday mounted atop a modified 747 carrier jet, taking off from the three-mile-long runway and then giving a final salute with a low-altitude flyby.
