Feustel takes photographs of the new MISSE (Materials International Space Station Experiment). It replaces an earlier version of the experiment that was exposed to the space environment since being deployed by spacewalker Randy Bresnik during the STS-129 mission in November 2009. Feustel and Chamitoff retrieved the experiment for return to Earth. All photos: NASA.

Feustel works to install the new MISSE experiment on the exterior of the space station.

Intersecting the thin line of Earth's atmosphere, International Space Station solar array wings are featured in this image photographed by an STS-134 crew member while space shuttle Endeavour remains docked with the station.
