Endeavour's rocket boosters back in port
BY SPACEFLIGHT NOW Posted: May 18, 2011

The Liberty Star and Freedom Star retrieval ships towed the shuttle Endeavour's two solid rocket boosters Tuesday into Port Canaveral, Fla. The boosters propelled the shuttle in the first two minutes of its launch Monday morning before falling away and parachuting into the Atlantic Ocean about 140 miles east of Jacksonville.
