Endeavour perched atop launch pad 39B Shuttle Endeavour arrived at Kennedy Space Center's launch pad 39B just before sunrise following the overnight rollout from the Vehicle Assembly Building. Endeavour is being prepared for its role as a standby rescue craft during next month's Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission and the scheduled November logistics run to the international space station. Note in these images below the new lightning tower construction for the next-generation Ares 1 rocket program and also a shot showing the backside of shuttle Atlantis' external fuel tank and boosters over on pad 39A.
