After a shortened mission in April, the Microgravity Science Laboratory Spacelab module was reflown successfully aboard Columbia with liftoff on July 1, 1997 at 2:02 p.m. The entire crew flew together again: commander Jim Halsell, pilot Susan Still, mission specialists Janice Voss, Don Thomas and Michael Gernhardt and payload specialists Roger Crouch and Greg Linteris.
