PHOTOS: Proton rolled to pad in Baikonur

Russia's Proton rocket reached the launch pad Saturday morning at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, riding on a train before being rotated vertical on top of the launch complex.

The 191-foot-tall rocket, affixed with a Breeze M upper stage, is set to lift off Tuesday at 1602 GMT (12:02 p.m. EDT) with the Eutelsat 3D communications satellite to serve video, data and broadband markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

These photos show the silver rocket arriving at the launch pad.
