A Rocket Lab Electron rocket launched eight satellites for phase one of German-based OroraTech’s wildfire detection constellation. The satellites headed into a 550 km circular Earth orbit at an inclination of 97 degrees. Rocket Lab will not attempt to recover the first stage booster.
