Issued: Friday, June 18
Launch Weather Officer: 2Lt. Travis Longmire, 45th Weather Squadron
Synoptic Discussion: "The Subtropical Ridge is the dominant weather feature across the northern part of Florida and the SE Gulf Coast states. The axis of the ridge will slowly settle southward resulting in afternoon showers developing closer to CCAFS. The Cape will still see isolated nighttime showers and Thunderstorms with most daytime thunderstorms forming west of I-95 through central Florida and moving west throughout the afternoon hours.
"The primary concern on launch day will be isolated showers."
