Synoptic Discussion: "No changes. Surface high pressure ridge axis is expected to remain north of the area through the weekend. This will result in deep easterly flow. Any and all thunderstorm activity will develop, and move west of the area, and be concentrated over interior and western Florida during the late afternoon and evening. Conditions associated with the tropical wave moving in from the southeast are now expected to remain over southern Florida.

"Main concerns on launch day will be ground winds and the proximity of any offshore showers."

Clouds: Few at 3,000 feet with 1/8ths sky coverage and tops at 7,000 feet; Scattered at 12,000 feet with 2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 14,000 feet; Scattered at 25,000 feet with 2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 26,000 feet

Launch Pad Winds: Easterly from 100 degrees at 8 gusting to 12 knots
