The Ariane 5 rocket launched at 2151 GMT (4:51 p.m. EST) Wednesday with the European Space Agency's second ATV resupply freighter bound for the space station. These images were captured from a viewing site near the launch base in French Guiana and inside the ATV control center in Toulouse, France.
