An Orbital Sciences Taurus rocket lifts off on March 12 from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The booster carried the Multispectral Thermal Imager satellite into space for the U.S. Dept. of Energy. Source video: U.S. Air Force (303k, 41sec QuickTime file).
