Russian resupply ship on the launch pad

A Soyuz rocket with the next Progress cargo freighter for the International Space Station has been rolled to the launch pad for Thursday's planned liftoff at 8:31 p.m. EST. The booster was transported by rail from its final assembly building and erected on the pad early Wednesday.

The Progress M-09M spacecraft is scheduled for docking to the station's Pirs compartment on Saturday at 9:39 p.m. EST. It is loaded with 3,080 pounds of equipment, 1,918 pounds of propellant, 926 pounds of water and 110 pounds of oxygen and air.
