Endeavour rolls out of the assembly building
Space shuttle Endeavour makes a late-night departure from Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Building on the road to launch pad 39B. The rollout began at 11:15 p.m. EDT on September 18 following a one-day weather delay.
Endeavour is being prepared for its role as a standby rescue craft during next month's Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission and the scheduled November logistics run to the international space station.
