NASA shows off first Orion capsule at KSC


NASA officials, project management and dignitaries welcomed the first space-bound Orion space capsule to the Kennedy Space Center in a ceremony at the Operations & Checkout Building where final assembly and testing on the craft will be performed. This Orion will be sent into orbit unmanned in 2014 atop a United Launch Alliance Delta 4-Heavy rocket for a shakedown cruise.
