Indian orbiter sends back photos of Mars

India's Mars Orbiter Mission has sent back stunning photos of the red planet in its first week there.

The photos were taken by the orbiter's color camera as it circles Mars in an oval-shaped orbit ranging in altitude between about 260 miles and 48,000 miles.
