Ready for its first launch in nearly six months, a United Launch Alliance Delta 4 rocket is set to loft a U.S. Air Force GPS navigation satellite Thursday in a launch window opening at 8:40 p.m. EST (0140 GMT).

The 205-foot-tall launcher was revealed around 11 a.m. EST Thursday when the massive mobile service gantry, which provides workers with access to all levels of the rocket, was rolled back to launch position at Cape Canaveral's Complex 37B launch pad.

See our Mission Status Center for live coverage of the launch.
