Synoptic Discussion: "High-pressure system will produce northerly winds and partly cloudy skies, with near seasonal temperatures. Friday a weak cold front will cross the peninsula and pass through the local area early morning, producing increased cloudiness and a slight chance of light rain.

"Only concern on launch day will be a slight chance of isolated showers along the coast with the onset of a light sea breeze and onshore flow."
