Synoptic Discussion: "Today will be warm and partly cloudy with an approaching low-pressure system moving northeast into Alabama and Georgia. The system has slowed, and southeasterly winds are bringing some moisture inland. Winds are expected to be gusty.

"Late Friday the front passes through giving a higher probability of violating launch constraints with clouds, showers and some possible lightning.

"Saturday the front and most of the associated moisture will be just east of the Cape, winds remain gusty."

Clouds: Scattered at 3,000 feet with 2-3/8ths sky coverage and tops at 5,000 feet; Few at 10,000 feet with 1-2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 14,000 feet; Few at 25,000 feet with 1-2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 30,000 feet

Visibility: 7 miles

Launch Pad Winds: Southeasterly from 130 degrees at 17 to 24 knots (as measured at 90-foot level)

Temperature: 73 degrees F

Relative Humidity: 60 percent

Weather: Slight chance of isolated showers

Solar Activity: Low

Probability of Violating Weather Constraints: 30 percent

Concerns: Clouds, slight chance of 90-foot level winds greater than 25 knots
